Political quake happened in Republika Srpska. Bosnian painting magician Mersad Berber died. SDA, SDS, SNSD and HDZ will have the most mayors in the next four years.

Mladen Bosic, leader of the Serb Democratic Party, SDS, commented on the results of the local elections saying that a political quake happened in Republika Srpska because voters replaced Milorad Dodik's SNSD with the SDS. He added that this set new relations on the entity and state level.

OSLOBODJENJE

Mersad Berber, Bosnian artist and world famous graphic and painter died in Zagreb in his 72nd year. Mersad's wife Ada and sons Ensar and Azer were in shock and did not want to talk to the media. Almost five decades of untiring work, this artist made numerous valuable paintings and graphics. He was a magician of drawings and colors.

NEZAVISNE NOVINE

Party of Democratic Action, SDA, Serb Democratic Party, SDS, Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, SNSD, and Croat Democratic Union, HDZBiH, will have the most mayors in the next four years, results of the Central Electoral Commission showed. Out of total of 138 mayoral seats, SDA won 34 and SDS 25. Number of invalid ballots was around 5,5 per cent. There is more than 50.000 ballots still to count.
