SDA wins 38 mayors, SDP 11 and SBB two. SDA, HDZ and SDS won. Slobodan Gavranovic won mayor of Banja Luka.

The Party of Democratic Action, SDA, won 38 mayors in Bosnia, Social Democrats, SDP, 11 and Alliance for a Better Future, SBB, two mayors, in Gorazde and Stari Grad Sarajevo. President of SBB Fahrudin Radoncic said his party is the third strongest party in the Federation.

OSLOBODJENJE

Party of Democratic Action, SDA, won the most power in the Federation entity, Serb Democratic Party, SDS, won the most in Republika Srpska. Out of Croat parties the most mayor mandates were won by the Croat Democration Union, HDZ BiH.

NEZAVISNE NOVINE

The new mayor of the City of Banja Luka is Slobodan Gavranovic of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, SNSD, who won 20.575 votes or 37,95 per cent. The second on the list was Dragan Cavic who won 18.047 votes. Third was Nenad Stevandic with 10.922 votes. Gavranovic said he has a reason to celebrate since Banja Luka absolutely supported him, but Cavic said the opposite adding SNSD lost Banja Luka since two opposition candidates had more votes than Gavranovic.
