Prices of petrol to drop in Bosnia. Sarajevo public transport company in crisis. US and EU want Federation BiH Constitution reformed.

The news that the price of petrol fell on New York stock exchange and the announcements that it will reflect prices in Bosnia was not welcomed by Bosnian petrol distributers. They said that it is not right to expect lower prices in Bosnia just based on one parameter. Economic expert Duljko Hasic said that the price of liter should go to two KM in stead of 2,35 KM [1,2 euro].

Sarajevo Canton public transport company Gras is in financial problems. Jusuf Bubica, Transport Minister, said that all that is being earned in the company goes for salaries. Radical measures are needed in order to save the company from going bancrupt.

USA and the EU are interested in the reform of the Federation BiH Constitution but the foreign officials said that local political factors should start such initiative and find a concensus over it. Sarajevo media reported that USA and the EU want a more functional administration in the entity.
