Sarajevo

DNEVNI AVAZ

Commercial banks operating in Bosnia, with which Hilmo and Mujo Selimovic took loans in hundreds of millions of KM, started their own investigation to determine who approved them those loans. Dnevni avaz daily research showed that the Sarajevo Brewery alone, owned by Selimovic family, has around 150 million of debts to banks.

OSLOBODJENJE

Valentin Inzko, the High Representative, visited the State Investigative and Protection Agency, SIPA, and said that it is unacceptable to claim lack of political will to push cases with the prosecutor. He added that SIPA does its job professionally and that they are the one to say there is lack of evidence and withdraw from a case.

NEZAVISNE NOVINE

Bosnian Prosecutor will soon issue four or five indictments for financial frauds in institutions and will be based on the investigation of SIPA and state auditors, Nezavisne novine daily learned. In the last two years SIPA filed several dozens of charges against almost 70 persons among which few former ministers and high-ranked officials are to be listed.
